It is lonely I suppose, but personally I feel it suits the mood and the landscape. The blessed warrior who slew Alduin and brought an end to Skyrim's civil war shouldn't have to worry about their body image. We can get caught up in the politics and struggles of another world or just hunt as a huntsman.
