The server uses the Altis Life game mode, where players can choose to undertake a rebel life, or use their time working up the police ranks. The server has had many staff and a large and always changing player base, largely influenced by the developer's actions and ArmA 3 map changes. The Darkside Games is an online gaming community founded in 2014, mainly operating on the military simulator, ArmA 3, developed by Bohemia Interactive.
